YOUR DAY
As an Industrial Engineer, your goal is to thoroughly analyze our company's current processes, determine areas for improvement, and implement effective new procedures. Leveraging your excellent mathematical skills and project management abilities, you evaluate our manufacturing processes, enforce quality control, and help improve our overall efficiency. Motivated to maximize our productivity, you manage production schedules, coordinate services, evaluate employees' responsibilities, and identify tools that could improve efficiency.
Before beginning a new project, you compile essential information regarding equipment, materials, cost analyses, purchase orders, and production cost estimates. As you carefully analyze our daily operations, you design various production layouts to help minimize waste, improve productivity, and cut costs. You develop control systems to meet our company's specific needs and enhance our manufacturing quality. Your analytical mindset and project management skills help take us to the next level!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering field such as industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or civil
- Relevant engineering work or internship experience
- Ability to use calculus, trigonometry, algebra, and other types of math to perform basic and advanced calculations determining process productivity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical recommendations in layman's terms
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Flexible problem-solving skills
- Analytical skills with the ability to accurately evaluate and interpret data
